Quantum-enhanced nonlinear microscopy
July 7th, 2021Congratulations to Catxere A. Casacio and Prof. Warwick Bowen of the University of Queensland Australia for his publication in Nature – “Quantum-enhanced nonlinear microscopy”. The Queensland Quantum Optics Lab (Link) is the first to use squeezed light to break the shot-noise limit in Stimulated Raman Scattering (SRS). This is a breakthrough, as it enables the imaging of biological structures in an innovative way.
We are proud to mention that our Optical Parametric Oscillator (OPO) the Levante Emerald ps was one of the key components that led to this novel achievement.
Be on the lookout for many other interesting discoveries from Prof. Bowen and his group.
