Levante IR fs OPO for 50 MHz
May 25th, 2021Another great example of how flexible our Optical Parametric Oscillator (OPO) really is.
Recently, we have successfully paired our Levante IR fs OPO with Coherent Monaco at University of Tsukuba, Japan. Special in this case is the fact that the Monaco pump laser runs at 50 MHz, which was a novel combination with one of our OPOs.
To extent the tunable wavelength range of the OPO, we installed an additional harmonic frequency converter, our HarmoniXX THG, unfortunately not visible in the image. With this, the customer has full access to wavelengths from MIR (1320 … 4800 nm) and down to VIS (470 … 1000 nm). One of the application this setup is aimed to fulfill, is the method of Time-domain THz-STM.
