High energy OPA system for picosecond-CARS

For the specific experimental requirements of our customer at Institute of Applied Physics (IAP) in Jena, we developed a customized high energy Optical Parametric Amplifier (OPA). This device is able to deliver laser pulses with over 160 µJ of energy, and has a wavelength tuning range between 700 and 940 nm. A new low record!

It’s not always about having more power. This time we were able to pump our Optical Parametric Amplifier (OPA) AVUS, with only ~ 8 W at 2 MHz, resembling only 4 µJ of energy per pulse. Even with this low energy we achieved our standard specification of the conversion efficiency > 12% at peak (Signal+Idler). Levante IR fs OPO for 50 MHz

Another great example of how flexible our Optical Parametric Oscillator (OPO) really is. Recently, we have successfully paired our Levante IR fs OPO with Coherent Monaco at University of Tsukuba, Japan. Changes in Management
