APE at the Pulsed Laser Metrology Workshop 2025

At the Pulsed Laser Metrology Workshop 2025 Olaf Korth from APE will give an invited talk on the importance of pulse diagnostics in ultrafast laser applications.
His presentation, titled “𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲-𝗼𝗳-𝘁𝗵𝗲-𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗨𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮-𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝘂𝗹𝘀𝗲𝘀,” will highlight the current capabilities and challenges in measuring ultrashort laser pulses.

The workshop is an invitation-only event bringing together 30–50 international researchers and operators of extreme laser facilities. Its goal is to assess current and future metrology needs for the characterization of high-end pulsed laser systems.

📍 The event will take place at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Boulder, Colorado (USA) on August 6–7, 2025.
