Levante Emerald ps – the alternative to Ti:Sapphire ps solutions
May 19th, 2026 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗱 𝗽𝘀 is a synchronously pumped optical parametric oscillator (OPO) that can be automatically tuned across the Ti:Sapphire wavelength range and beyond.
It is pumped by green (SHG from 1 µm), mode-locked, industrial-grade picosecond lasers and delivers, depending on the pump source, pulses from 2 to 12 ps, with a spectral bandwidth of 1.5 to 10 cm⁻¹ and watt-level output power. 💡
With optional harmonic generation for signal and idler (up to the 4th harmonic), the system can be flexibly configured to cover wavelengths from 190 nm to 2300 nm. It is well suited for applications such as quantum dot research, metrology, coherent Raman microscopy, laser ARPES, and fluorescence lifetime imaging. 🔬
Additional components such as a pulse picker (𝗽𝘂𝗹𝘀𝗲𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁) for repetition rate reduction, a spectral slicer (𝗽𝘂𝗹𝘀𝗲𝗦𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿) for bandwidth control, and an optical delay unit (𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘆) enable highly customized solutions. Multiple OPOs can even be synchronously pumped by a single laser to generate independent, tunable, and precisely timed pulses.🤯
