APE supports award for social commitment
This year the taz-Panterpreis wasl be officially awarded on September, 17.
The taz-Panterpreis is an award for the heroes of daily life. Since 2005 the Berlin newspaper Tageszeitung (taz) has been looking for people with courage who believe that the status quo can be changed. These people are insistent, inconvenient and commited in a social, political or simply human way. Mostly they are not famous. The taz-Panterpreis creates the attention that should be theirs.
