The APE OPO is an Optical Parametric Oscillator that is synchronously pumped by a modelocked Ti:Sapphire laser. It is designed for highly efficient frequency transformation from the Ti:Sapphire range into IR and VIS. Depending on the pulse duration of the input pulses it can be fs or ps operated. Since the transformation process is jitter free the OPO is the ideal equipment for two colour experiments like pump-and-probe measurements.
