OPO Workshop creates user exchange

On September 24 – 25, 2009 the APE User Workshop “Synchronously Pumped OPOs“ took place in Berlin. The twelve participants from four countries highly appreciated the exchange of user information, the lectures by the APE product developers and the hands-on training in the laser laboratories.

APE GmbH was glad to announce Prof. Dr. Markus Lippitz from Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research as guest lecturer. He reported about his newest research results in the field of elasticity and mode structure of single nanoparticles. Furthermore, the participants Friedeman Kiefer from Max Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine in Münster und Gert-Jan Bakker from Radbound Universiteit Nijmegen presented their new research. Booth studies the development of cells in living organisms by means of multiphoton microscopy using APE OPOs.
