..is trained at the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena as a laboratory technician for physics. From working at the Akademie der Wissenschaften she moves to the Ingenieursbüro für Spezialmesstechnik together with Jan Popien and Edlef Büttner. She follows them and Thomas Lindemann to APE in spring 1993, where she assists as an authorised officer the Managing Directors in numerous tasks.
