APE is expanding its capacity
To satisfy the growing requirements for quantity and quality, APE has been increasing its company space in the last few weeks up to ca. 2000 qm. Instead of four laser laboratories so far there are seven now. Due to the installation of a filter and air conditioning system, the test and working conditions there have been improved considerably. The sections electronic development and optomechanics were redesigned and were allocated more space. The equipment of the mechanical production has been brought up to be state-of-the-art. New conference rooms and meeting corners have been established to meet the demand of an increasing number of staff.
Deploying heavy equipment was necessary in order to move optical tables and parts of the air conditioning system to their final position (see picture).
