AP&E Inc. and APE GmbH at CLEO 2011 in Baltimore

Our US partner company AP&E Inc. and APE GmbH exhibited together at the CLEO 2011, May, 2 – 5, Baltimore Convention Center, Baltimore, MD, USA.

We presented our approved portfolio, our latest products, actual developments and upgrades of our instruments, as…

… the new PulseCheck USB with PulseLink controller combines the standard PulseCheck optical head with the new PulseLink controller replacing the standard control unit of the PulseCheck. It controls the optical head while being connected via USB to the control software running on the customer’s computer.

The PulseCheck USB with PulseLink Controller offers high resolution digitizing and high speed readout of the autocorrelation function for further use.
The scanning of the optical head can be synchronized to an external trigger which makes it ideal for the measurement of e.g. low repetition rate amplifier systems.
The center wavelength of the input pulse is derived by the control software from a fringe resolved autocorrelation via the calibrated scanner.

… the new VIS module for the Chameleon Compact OPO automated and computer controlled frequency doubling of the Chameleon or Chameleon Compact OPO – for hands free easy operation to extend the wavelength range even further.
A live demo was shown at the Coherent booth.

…the picoEMERALD, compact all-in-one ultrafast CARS light source, remote controlled and hands-free. It comprises a high power ps oscillator with a frequency doubler and a synchronously pumped OPO in a single housing. It was demonstrated live via internet. Visitors could control and tune it online from our booth while it was in operation in our laboratory in Berlin and see the results on web-cam in a live stream.

… the HarmoniXX frequency converter series for fs- and ps-oszillators as well as OPOs extending the wavelength range down to below 200 nm from a fs Ti:Sa oscillator. It comes as SHG, THG or FHG unit with automated adaptation of the phase matching angle of the nonlinear crystals on selected models.

...the new Optical Parametric Amplifier (OPA), shown at the Femtolasers booth.

Thanks to all the customers that stopped by and told us about their particular interests and applications.
