September 14th, 2021This week, our colleague Stefan Popien will attend the European Optical Society Annual Meeting (EOSAM) from the 13th to 17th Sept.
Fortunately, the conference will be held in person in Rome, and we have the opportunity to talk to members of the community.
Stefan will present a poster about our work on a IR light source based on an Optical Parametric Oscillator (OPO) combined with a Difference Frequency Generator (DFG). The tunable wavelength range extends over 3.9 octaves starting with 1.3 µm up to 19 µm. Bandwidths between 10 cm-1 and 300 cm-1 are achieved by using the spectral focusing technique.
